I use GEM razors everyday in my profession and these razor blades do not have the same sharpness or cutting profile of older GEM razors. Don't buy if you're looking for GEM razors.

I build wooden boat models and tend to reach for a scalpel or hobby knife, often with concerns of how flimsy scalpel and hobby knife blades are. After picking up some mini-scrapers, I liked how convenient for cutting ticks that hold parts on a thick laser cut sheet and the wide holder making it easier for me to hold with the gnarled arthritic fingers vs hobby knife or scalpel handles.Where I live single-edged razor blades are hard to find; when they are found the price is $3 to $5 for only 3 or 4, so these are a really good buy for 100. They appear and feel like quality and last as well as the pricey ones mentioned above. These are sharp; however, like the hobby knife blades they don't stay sharp for very long, but when not super sharp after using for intricate and delicate cuts, they are still usable to get in between the laser cuts to push down to snap the ticks holding the parts on the laser sheets. So, essentially, I can get twice the use of these—not so much with the hobby knife blades. I would say less flimsy than hobby knife blades and scalpels; however, last a bit longer than hobby blades because when dull, I can still use to cut/snap ticks holding parts on laser sheets. The scalpels I use outlast either, but they are very thin and flimsy.I like that these come in a usable case to keep them in; however, I really didn't like that they are stored blade-side up when the case is opened. The individual wrap is simply a thin cardboard band around the blade-end edge that I am very leery of reaching in as don't trust they are really protecting to prevent getting cut when reaching in to get a blade. EASY FIX for my paranoia: I had my husband turn them all around to put the the blades are down, so I can pull a blade out from its top/handle side.I use my diabetic sharps container to dispose of after wrapping masking tape around the blade on a piece of cardboard.I offer 5 stars, despite my being leery with the blade-sides up when the storage package is opened!

Single edge razor blades are a basic and essential tool used for a variety of purposes. These do the job perfectly - and for me as a light user - 100 of them will last a very long time. At only a dime a blade this will encourage me to replace them frequently and avoid the risk of slippage and cutting yourself that often occurs when using dulled cutting tools. The simplest seeming task for a razor blade is often the most demanding. In my case that's putting the blade into a scraper and using it to remove the biennial registration sticker from a vehicle. The sticker is in an awkward spot at the bottom of the windshield, jammed low to the dash so that it doesn't interfere with the driver's view. The luxury of using a fresh blade for this every time means that the entire sticker and almost all of the adhesive came off with a single pass of the blade and a quick touch-up second pass removed all residue. So clearly these blades are plenty sharp right out of the box.In short, 100 blades for $10 is a much better value than buying ten blades for $3 to $5 elsewhere and always using fresh, sharp blades and changing them frequently reduces your chance of injury.

Alright, let's talk about these AccuTec Pro Single Edge Aluminum Backed Razor Utility Blades! Gotta say, for the price, they're a pretty great deal - a real bang for your buck! You get a whole pack of 100 blades, which is awesome! Now, here's the thing - they work really well when they're fresh outta the box, super sharp and all that jazz. But I gotta be real with you, they do tend to dull out quite fast. You might find yourself replacing 'em more often than you'd hope. But hey, here's the silver lining - remember that pack of 100 blades I mentioned earlier? Yeah, that's your saving grace right there! With so many of 'em in hand, you can easily swap 'em out when they start to dull, no problemo! All in all, I'd say these blades are a solid purchase, especially considering the quantity you get for the price. Sure, they might not last forever, but with a hundred of 'em at your disposal, you'll be well-equipped for your cutting needs. I'm giving 'em a thumbs up!

I go through a few blades a week, so I buy single-edged blades in bulk. This 100-pack was priced as low as I could find them anywhere and delivered to my door. They come in a plastic clam-shell case that’s easy to open, reusable, and keeps them from getting rusty in my humid South Florida garage.Like most, these blades are all individually wrapped with an easy-to-remove cardboard protector. I found it easy to safely get my fingernail under the edge on the side and carefully peel them off where they’re glued together. These are the standard size and shape and fit into my scrapers as well as . They’re also the standard .009 inch thickness, or what’s considered “9 gauge”, and made of carbon steel with an aluminum wrap on one side.I cut up lots and lots of corrugated cardboard, and these seem to be as sharp and last as long as any others I’ve used. I couldn’t be happier.Hope this helps.

It's hard to say much more than the headline. They are a pack of razor blades. Each is individually wrapped in cardboard, and they are in a plastic clamshell case. I use razor blades all the time for everything from sticker removal to removing bugs from my windshield. I like to keep a bunch of these around, so the 100 pack is a great option, and reasonably priced as well. Just a tip - before I toss one of these in the trash, I always wrap it with masking tape to prevent accidents later (in case I forget and press down on the trash to compact it, etc.).
