I bought this for my Yorkie, he wears a small and usually that is even a little big on him.However I ordered a small in this and it came.... looked cute... but I could barely get him into it. In fact I had to “cut” it off because it was that small. If you order this I recommend you order a size up.

I love this outfit, unfortunately the dog does not. She runs the other way when she sees me get it out and I'm afraid I've traumatized her. Our other dog, who is a few pounds bigger, will put up with it, so I think we will keep it. They both look adorable in it, and the snaps make it fairly easy to put on (easier if you have a dog that doesn't mind). Super cute! Since it fits both dogs, I believe the sizing is a little forgiving. But it's definitely for small to small-medium dogs.
