Trigger pull is excessive. It is high enough that it is impossible to achieve any sort of accuracy. My Crossman C11 ($39) is signicantly more accurate. I would return the P229 if it was possible.

It works. And it shoots pretty accurately. The gas cylinders get stuck and won't come out without a lot of work. The handle scales are already popping off after using it one day. It seems to misfire and not shoot a lot. It isn't really a 16 rd capacity. The magazine has a 8 rd cylinder on each end of it so I guess thats how they think its a 16rd capacity? It's cool and it shoots fairly accurately, but it's not great for how much it costs.

I like the look and feel I did not like the fake slider removal level and the decocker dont funtion as the real gun. Is more safe but for training creates a problem of memory.

I like this product because it’s very affordable and powerful.I like that you can use pellets or bbs it also feels and looks like a real gun.It is a great practice gun to teach my son how to use and shoot a gun and teach him the safety’s of a gun.

Without any doubt this is a fun tool to have, specially for pest control and for getting rid of insects. It has a very good weight almost resembling the real thing. Most of the controls work great and the rail holds accessories well. So far have been really accurate and the pellets have enough power when the CO2 tank is filled. The blowback mechanism works good, nothing extreme but is nice enough for a simulation. The noise levels are decent, and the trigger is really smooth. Overall I have no complaints except maybe making it optics ready but overall my experience has been great. Definitely recommended.

I haven't had a chance to use this as I'll explain bùt there is some important information i need to inform anyone who orders this.First, I cant make sense of Amazon's shipping policies. I checked out several listings for the Sig Sauer P226/P229 pellet gun. Some will ship to my NY State address (my county allows for ownership & possession of BB/pellet guns) while others say that the airguns can't be shipped to my address. Now to the important information about this item. When I received this CO² pellet gun, there was a small loose U shaped plastic piece in the CO² chamber. I was worried that a part may had broken off in the chamber & that it might not be safe to use. I contacted the seller, Pyramyd Air, who advised me to return & replace the gun and should be sent back to the manufacturer, Sig Sauer. When I spoke to SIG SAUER regarding the small loose U shaped plastic piece in the CO² chamber of the P229 air pellet pistol, I was informed that it is NOT something that came off on the pistol or in the CO² chamber. It is a piece that is included to be attached to the rear sights if using a red dot optic attachment. Since it is such a small piece, it was placed in the CO² chamber so that it would not get misplaced or lost when opening the box in which the pistol comes. So if your pistol comes with this, know that you should keep that piece in a safe place and the gun is safe to use. I also purchased 2 additional 16 round magazines, pellets, a pellet loader, pellet gun oil, and a lockable pistol case to keep it safe. One issue with the gun is that the safety switch is very stiff and I'm not able to flip it off safety with my thumb alone, but am able to flip it into safe mode more easily. I've oiled the switch and will see if it loosens up with more use.I'll update this review after using the pistol for a while.
