Generally, a 20/30 and 30/40 circuit panel board generally only allows 1/2" breakers in the lower 5 (by 2 left/right) slots.i.e the bottom 10 spaces are the only locations these will fit into. Look at the inside cover (see picture).The only fit Siemens and ITE boards that are designed for tandem breakers in the designated breaker spaces.It's deliberate that they do not match a 1" Siemens breaker. Look for a notch in the bus.

This devise will not fit in older style Siemens distribution panels , it will only fit in more recently manufactured panels. The buss bar stabs are wider in the older panels and will not engage into the slots in this breaker. The price was right but it would not fit in the panel that I purchased it for.This review has been submitted by a licensed electrician.

I have a limited space wlectric panel that is no where near capacity. I needed extra space and wanted to combine an interlocked double through 15amp. Having search just about everywhere locally, I purchased this one. It arrived on time was brand new and fit well and gave me two extra branch circuits that were badly needed. I would buy this again and again.

These are Siemens brand breakers, identical to those available in big box reno stores, but usually at a better price.The "CT" breaker will only fit in panels that have a bus bar with two narrow contact legs (see photos); not in panels that have a single wide contact for opposing (left/right side) breakers. Those with the single wide contact need the "CTNC" type.This works perfectly in the Siemens EQL8100D Loadcenter. This loadcenter does specify (inside of the door) differentbreakers that will fit; this includes the "QT" designation.

When it didn't pop in as expected, I assumed there must be a manufacturing defect. Sure enough, the cast hard plastic prevented it from making a complete connection. But don't do what I did and carve away the plastic to supposedly fix the problem: it turns out there is nothing wrong with the breaker at all, and it is designed that way!The plug connection is designed to avoid overloading panel boxes, and this particular variant will only fit in a very limited number of slots in my panel. So read the details on your panel box, and make sure you get the variant that will fit any open slots you want to use. Since I'd damaged the breaker I bought, I ended up paying double to learn this important lesson! (No fault of the supplier.)

Perfect fit for Generac branded Siemens panelboard, to convert a jet pump from 120 to 240 in order to balance the load. No place local has the quad breakers with a 2P 15A in-stock or available in reasonably time.I just wish Amazon would learn how to properly package breakers for shipping to protect them adequately.
