Siemens main breaker kits are used to convert the Ultimate type of main lug load centers to main breaker load centers, or can be used as a replacement main breaker in main breaker type Ultimate load centers. Ultimate load centers are the current load center in production and went into production in 2002. Check the load center wiring diagram for confirmation. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.

we just received this part and it was suppose to be new but the material is all scratched up . do not want to put in used part and not have warrenty .

The first when I receive the main switch was broken. But I requested a replacement and it came very quickly and works as expected.

I added a new panel to my garage to update the electrical. And I needed a main breaker for it. This was the perfect fit. Bolted right in no problems.

Sturdy and easy to install. Cheaper to put together a load center by buying a Main Lug model panel and buying your own main breaker. This one is going into a Siemens panel so no comments about interoperability with other brands - probably not a good idea. Not much you can say except that there's no way to test breakers at home, so trust depends on believing the manufacturer has built sufficient quality into their products and that they'll be around for the life expectancy of the product. No doubt in my mind about Siemens. Would recommend to a friend.
