Key Features

  • Volume control knob allows users to adjust the volume to fit each musical situation
  • Rugged, dynamic cartridge with improved response
  • High-impedance, omnidirectional
  • Supplied with 1/4 inch connector

    Applications
Connect the 520DX directly into a guitar amplifier to produce the classic blues harp sound. Use the following guidelines:

    • The volume control on the microphone should be turned down before plugging it into an amplifier. As you move away from the amplifier, the volume can be turned up.
    • Adjust the microphone's volume control knob during performances as needed. For example, when switching from playing rhythm to lead or to place the microphone on standby between sets.
    • To avoid feedback, maintain as much distance as possible from monitors or loudspeakers. Adjust the volume of monitors or loudspeakers at the mixing console so that no feedback is present when the volume control knob on the harmonica microphone is at its maximum setting.

Price, looks, cachet, build quality, has it allEasy to use, and just adds that slight swagger to a journeyman trainee at best.

Many of my musican friends - harmonica players have this type of microphone. I play and can conveniently carry my own mic and small amp with me. Sound is very good.

Easy to use, turn dial on bottom lets your voice ring through. Nice 2lb weight in your hand with a generous length in cord to walk around. I use this as a performance mic, to be honest it does muffle quiet a bit so just be prepared to speak close into the mic, like uncomfortably close. But i use a mini honey amp and fx pedals to give myself a dope unique sound. Out of all my instrumental purchases, this is my favorite.

全く問題ありません。他のハーモニカマイクに比べハウリングがほとんど起こらなくなりました。サイズと重さは課題ですが、音優先です。大きな場所で使いたいマイクでした。

It`s just what the jam doctor ordered! Flippin awesome! Been playing harp a long time and always wanted one of these, but i live way out here in the waste lands. So i never have seen one in the small town shops. Thanks to Amazon I finally have access to groovy stuff. The tone is great. fit and finish is great. the volume knob is mighty handy. A friend played one of the old ones back in the late 70s through a Fender Champ. This new Bullet does not have quite as much rasp as that old one but i think it sounds better on a clean Bassman.

The Shure Green Bullet 520DC is an amazing microphone if used correctly. It has such a warm, distorted sound prefect for blues music. I bought it to sing out of because I wanted a lo-fi sounding vocal mic. This mic isn't low impedance so not too much power, but once I used a DI box it explodes my vocals. Amazing! I gave it a four out of five just because it's a 1/4" instead of a XLR. I know, I know it's made for amplifiers to power it. Nevertheless, this mic kicks ass and is built to be beaten and can take it. I've dropped it a few times. Just a side note, you cannot find a mic holder for it. So, take an old mic holder and melt it to fit the shape of the mic, then use velcro and bands to secure it down. Vaula, instant cheap mic holder for the Shure Bullet!Peace.
