These mics are everything. The sound quality is amazing and everyone loved the vintage look. Shure really makes some of the best mics. This is my first time purchasing this brand, although as a singer, I have used them before. I am glad I went on and purchased 2 of them.

The microphone is great. One of the best on the market in my opinion. However, when I bought this package that included the mic boom (stand), the microphone doesn't really connect to the boom smoothly because they wire cord connection is too thick, which interferes to create a perfect fit

Bought this and feared it may be just another classic vibed gimmic... But it is not. Iv used 58 styled mics performing for years and I believe the 55 has even better range for vocals. The only down side I can see is you must thread the mic onto your mic stand for each use; not sure how long the threads will hold up because of this but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.
