Beautiful and durable glasses. Heavy glass looks and feels luxurious. Perfect for a whiskey with an ice ball. However, I use them daily for water. They get dishwashered at least daily and they haven’t lost their lovely sparkle.

Nice, solid glass with a very beautiful design. You'll really enjoy the purchase once you have a drink, and the light hits it just right!!!

Very nice heavy thick glasses. Just what you should buy for making cocktails. I prefer the agave as the cut lines do NOT go to the rim of the glass. Very nice glasses for the price. Good heavy base and feels good in your hand. Recommend.

These look beautiful. I have some Waterford glasses that aren't cut that look a lot worse. I would have guessed that these were a lot more expensive. They come in a nice box for gifting and have a nice weight and solid feel to them. The only downside may be if they are too large for some reason (e.g. if you want the drink to take more of the glass or are doing a flight and need to save space).

These glasses are just ok. Not worth $40 for the set.The clarity of the glass is on the poor side to the point that they look out of place sitting among the rest of my barware. Sitting beside high quality crystal these glasses look a bit foggy and maybe even slightly blue, almost like they're plastic instead of glass. The size and shape are fine.

So, I would not gift these because they are an odd little duck. In their favor, the base is in proportion to the heft of these glasses and they are in fact cut glass, so they don't have those annoying rounded facets of cheaper looking glasses. Now for the weird. They cut the pattern all the way to the rim of the glass. The second row of wedge cuts was completely unnecessary and cheapen the glass because they look like lines or nicks in the rim of the glass from the top. This also creates a bunch of weak points in the glass by cutting near the rim - probably why so many people experience these breaking. The other weird thing is just how THICK these are. Unlike any crystal glass I've ever own or seen, these are almost as thick as a regular drinking glass. It's not what I expected from cut crystal, but looking back at the stock pictures I should have noticed how thick they are.To me, these are great glasses for when you have a larger crowd and want a decent vessel - like those catering packs of plates, they serve a purpose. For anyone looking for a nice glass at a low price, this is the best I've found, but they don't fit the bill for something really nice from an off-brand where you're not paying the Waterford premium. If the manufacturer is reading this: make the glass thinner and ditch the second row of wedge cuts. If you wanted, you could make the one row of wedge cuts a bit taller. Also, since you're getting rid of the second row of wedge cuts, take the time you just saved and throw a star pattern on the bottom - that would be great. Then you've got yourself a winner.
