Built a disc sander attachment for my new lathe. Spins 16" over bed but couldn't find a readily available 16" PSA disc so I used this one and trimmed it down.Some reviews say the adhesive doesn't last and the grit is thin and comes off. Neither is the case in my experience.Have used the one disc for 3 months now and used it quite a bit. No issues.Would buy again.4 stars only because nothing is totally perfect and I don't give 5 stars.

So I add some 3M super 77 spray adhesive to the sticky side before putting on my disc sander and I haven't had a problem with the disk peeling off. I use this weekly making segmented rings for turning and it works great

Edges buckled which causes the adhesive to fail.All other grit that I purchased at the same time adhered as expected without any ripples or buckling. Brand new anodized disc was cleaned with alcohol prior to application.

Love these Shop Fox sanding discs. Work great, lasts forever, and when used up come off the metal disc easily which is important.

Be VERY careful sticking these on - the glue is very tenacious - which is good, since it's spinning pretty fast...

I have only used one of two disks. It's edges did not stick to the CMT 10" balance blade/sander disk, and the sandpaper disk self-destructed (quite spectacularly) when I was test sanding a piece of scrap pine.

Good for a table saw sanding disk. Has decent stick assuming that the disk is truly clean. Be very sure it is! I failed with lacquer thinner and ended up scrubbing off the new disk's protective coating with alcohol. Had to cut a hole in the sandpaper for the mounting nut and washer with a hole saw which is not entirely easy or fun. It does sand very well and I am sorry I didn't use this kind of sanding system before.

these sanding dics are a heavy duty item, not the flimsy paper ones! They stick on solid and remove easily without leaving adhesive to be cleaned up! I would highly recommend them to any woodworker.
