I have a vintage Gary Fisher MB. It had quit shifting, so I overhauled the bike and replaced the shifters. It now rides great and shifts correctly.

My front shifter was very marginal, but the set was so inexpensive I bought both: and the result has been unexpected. it was getting ever more difficult to adjust the rear for the sweet spot where both up and downshifts were crisp on every gear: now they are! And the front is easier than it's been for years.

These shifters are SO COOL. I can't believe how awesome they are for the money I paid. My mountain bike has become fun to ride again. This is still my first season with them but I'm already convinced. The guy that repairs my bicycles likes them too.

当初はスプロケとディレィラーだけ換えるつもりでしたが、いまいちワイヤーの引き具合が噛み合わず、結局交換しました。廉価版御用達のシフトグリップですが、割りと好きなのと、元々の自転車がホームセンターグレードなので、なにも不満ないです。滑らかかつ位置決めが正確なのは、流石にシマノ。ディレィラーハンガーを自作したような低グレードの自転車でも、快適に動いてくれてます。
