Save for the weight, this crankset is great. But at 840 grams, it's only good for casual gravel riding... and maybe that's what it's meant for.

Used this to replace a Shimano FC-5750 (105) crankset that limited me to a 34 tooth small chainring. Despite what Shimano would have you believe, it integrated nicely with the rest on my 5700 drive train. Nice to have a 30 tooth chainring to pair with a 11-35 cassette.

Replaced the puny crankset that came on my bike. Now my groupset is a complete match.

The 30-49 crank is great on the hills. If you put a 34t cassette on the back, you feel as if you can do any hill that comes your way. Easy to install on a road bike that originally had a Shimano Ultegra 34-50 crankset.

I have a Trek Domane ALR4 and I got this crankset to give me a lower gear ratio on hills. It is working perfectly (and I can still go as fast as I want on downhills)Several bike shops told me that I needed to replace the front derailleur and gear ratio. But I found an excellent shop (Campus Bike Shop on the Stanford University campus) who told me these changes weren't necessary. They said the crankset would work fine with the existing front derailleur and shifter. And they turned out to be right, which saved me a BUNCH of money!
