Tandem plus riders, 330lbs. plus, steep hills, you better have good brakes. Potential energy at top of hill. LOTS of heat at the bottom.

I added these to my Wired Freedom bike with 203mm discs

Fit in place of the 201 caliper that was noisy and had little stopping power using the same line and master. Bolted up and provided a noticeable improvement in both power and feel.

I got these to replace the ones on genius 940 2018. Levers don't bite at the same point, took some good work to equalize the pistons. Looking forward to upgrading after these. The metal pads aren't as good as the resin for modulation and feel. Initially paired these with shimano rt66 but they were china so tried the magura and they're better.

Less pressure on brake lever and still get good slow/stopping power

These work great, I love 'em. If only they didn't leak from the pistons. I have replaced three front and three rear on my 2019 Trek Powerfly because the pistons start "weeping" fluid which contaminates the brake pads, then they squeal like crazy. Too bad they can't fix this problem. I also have a 2021 Trek Rail with Tektro calipers and they never leaked in 4000 miles! Too bad Tekro won't fit Powerfly.
