Been enjoying this shifter, I was a little iffy about the downshifts being on the front But now that it is that way I don't want to go back. Installed easy indexed easy with my shimmano cassette and derailleur. Gone a few Hundred miles and I'm enjoying it!

As far as quality goes, it's a good shifter, but I received a 7 speed one not a 9 speed one as I ordered.

Great replacement for a Deore shifter, slightly lower quality. Positive action, better gear position indicator.Came with fitted cable and cable end cap.If it lasts as long as the 23 year old previous shifter I won't be complaining.Just completed 70 kilometres, mixture of off road and road, the shifter performed faultlessly.

J ai cassé celle que j'avais d'origine puis Qu'elle belle surprise de voir ce selecteur de vitesse arriver avec le câble déjà installé dedans..pas besoin de stresser à le démonter pour y mettre le câble...Y a pu qu'à le glisser dans le tube du guidon,la gaine.. serrage au dérailleur, réglage et le tour est joué... impeccable toutes vitesses montes et descendes avec fluidité... bravo ...

I got this to replace my Deore shifter that broke. I was a little afraid it wouldn't be as nice but it shifts even better than the old one. It's great that it comes with the cable.

やはり納得のシマノです。旧型のMTBアンセムに使用しました。９速全てのギヤに適格にシフトチェンジするようになりました。親指と人差し指で操作する感じもとても気に入っており、ディスプレイ表示もとても見やすくてわかりやすいです。本当に購入してよかったです。

This shifts well and was easy to install. The only thing is this shifter’s display is below the handlebars, not above them like the original and it is different than the left side shifter.

Schimano Ersatzteil gibts nicht mehr, hab deshalb das hier eingebaut. Ich kann die Kommentare zur billigen Qualität nicht bestätigen. Das Teil macht einen guten Eindruck und hat auch nicht mehr Plastik als das Originalteil.

My only wish, is that it was bi-directional like the Deore. But otherwise, it's a crisp shifting, super easy to setup, nicely displays the gear you're in. I used this on a 1x9 I built up recently. I at first, tried a SunRace shifter but man, it would not play nice with position of shifter in relation to the brake lever and grip. Shimano is my go-to, should have, and ultimately, stuck with them!
