Good quality…..helps in keeping chord/lyrics sheets organized.

In theory, it's a great idea! However, the quality of the pages for the music is really flimsy. Also, it will not hold an 8 and 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. The paper is too small. Also, the notebook has four rings rather than three, so there's no way to add a plastic page protector, for example.

This is a great idea and it is useful, so overall I do like it despite a few issues. It definitely reduces the times I need to turn pages, especially in very long pieces or ones with codas, etc. I unfold/open all the needed sheets ahead of time so that I’m turning one long page to go to the next four while playing. The pages do a decent job staying place with the short plastic tabs, but I’m not sure why full sleeves weren’t used. I don’t find it easier to place new sheet music in than it would be with full sleeves and they would protect the pages better.

I am prepping for solo acoustic guitar/voice performances and will need to play anywhere from 1 to 3 hours of music on occasion. Most people opt for a tablet, iPad or phone to display lyrics and/or music. This means the musician is at risk of a low battery, malfunctions, spilled liquids, clumsy stage hands, dropped device or theft. Nothing beats a good notebook with actual paper that does not require electricity and is at a very low risk of theft. This opens up to allow simultaneous viewing of 4 pages all in protective sleeves. I do my best to remember lyrics but it is reassuring to have them at hand just in case. The sleeves are designed so that you can access the paper to make notes without removing it and they are glare-free for easy viewing. If you are feeling daunted by trying to commit the lyrics of "Visions Of Johanna" to memory this is the way to go.
