This suit is great quality and well made. It covers very well and I expect a female dog would be fantastic.Little tricky with the zip needing to be undone slightly so allow a pee hole for a male but I’m sure this will be sorted one day.

I have an English Cocker Spaniel, 14 1/4” tall at the shoulder and about 27 lb. I bought this onesie as an outdoor coat to run him in the field and not have to spend hours afterward brushing out burrs and sticks and bathing off the mud.The fit was surprisingly good. It is a bit loose in the belly area, but my boy does have a tuck up so I think this probably can’t be helped without custom coats for different breeds. The stretch is excellent, so it wasn’t too difficult to get on him. I have a similar coat made for outdoor use on my other dog, and his is less stretchy and thus much more difficult to get the back legs into. Once the coat was a little wet, it sagged a bit in the upper legs, but that didn’t affect the protection nor his comfort level.He ran in it just like he does without a coat. It didn’t restrict his movement at all and it didn’t cause any discomfort. His coat was protected well from sticks and burrs, and the coat didn’t get snagged or damaged in any way.Although I didn’t use it in the exact way intended, I did notice that when I took it off there was hair on the inside, which doesn’t happen with my other coat, so I believe it likely works well as a shed defender too.I would recommend this coat.

we bought this for our german shepherd more because she had a wound on her elbow that needed healing than for shedding. overall it worked great, her wound healed perfectly without the need for a cone and we enjoyed having less fur around the house. Pro's and Con's down below.Pros:- the material is cool to the touch so we weren't concerned about overheating. although i wouldn't recommend leaving your dog on with this for extended periods of time in the heat- it certainly reduces the amount of shedding, but all that hair is collected within the onesie, so you will need to periodically need to remove it from your dog and clean it. we removed the big chunks of hair then threw it in the washer/dryer.Cons:- for us we went by the weight description, but it seemed pretty tight...so we unhooked the rear legs and just tied them off. not sure if this is our fault or if the sizing doesnt match the weight. i might recommend going up size if your dog is within 3-4 lbs of a different sizing.overall good, product....would recommend

We bought this to take our pup on an 11 hour road trip (22 total hours) in a RENTAL Vehicle. This held up to holding in the dog hair (except for the fur exposed parts - are pictures).We have a 56lb mutt (rescue pup) and we got size LARGE.We rented an SUV for our trip and put blankets down in the back where our pup was. We got this suit for him because he is VERY anxious on car rides and he also sheds like crazy! The combination of this suit and the blankets was good enough for us to not have to pay the pet fee on the rental when we returned it (we also vacuumed it before returning).Pros: easy to put on (but if you have a male BE CAREFUL when zipping open/closed), durable fabric, convenient zipper (you don’t have to take the full suit off for pup to use the bathroom) - easy to wash (I washed on delicate / no heat, air dry) - the suit helped our pup feel more relaxed, he slept for at least 4 hours during the 11 hour ridesCons: the only con I can this of is that it’s easy for my pup to get his hind legs 1/2 way out of the suit, each time he was in it for a while without being walked, he would scoot his hind legs mostly out of the suit which makes it tough to get them back in - it’s not impossible, just a bit more diffIcyDid you find this review helpful?
