Seams to be OK except it will not stay turned off I even locked the slide with its lock to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. If I open the case 75% of the time the display is on just from case being picked up & moved ! Even though ⁹the slide was locked and it couldn't move. So I'm getting ready to return it & order a different one and an ephany from the heavens was delivered from above & I start persuing an idea & I check the storage case lid depth(s) & clearances above the caliper's electronic head & I discovered it is the storage case lid that was pressing the on / off button & turning on the electronics now all i have to do is figure out how to modify the cheap ass plastic storage case lid to not close "as tight" this will be an interesting call to the vender..... the possible venders solution will be a very interesting conversation !!!
