We have four hockey players in our house and use these targets about 6 times a week. We like that they are magnetic so they can be placed just about anywhere along the posts or crossbar. These are far easier than any of the tarp/goalie style trainers as you can easily set them up in less than a minute and retrieve your pucks from the net without taking them down! They have been absolutely crushed with 70-80mph shots and they are all fully intact to this point. The tethers are a nice touch, but for us it's just as easy to pick them up off the ground and reset them. We typically use these in skills challenges, for our 100 shots a day (per person), or as the scoring targets when playing 1-on-1 with no goalie. Very happy with these thus far!

These targets are great for intermediate players learning to find goalie weak points. The kids love the noise they make when they get a ringer, its quite distinctive and loud. We've only used them a couple of times as our players aren't still learning to control their shots but I believe we will get a lot of use out of them in the future.

I've wanted a set of these magnetic targets for a while and finally picked this up. They look great, come in a nice little bag and even come with a puck. I took them to stick and puck and the magnets are strong and they connect quickly and easily and hold well until they take a nice slapper, at which point they give you a nice satisfying sound and drop. A few of us spend the entire hour taking shots at them and they worked great and are very durable and should hold up well over time. The only knock is the bungee tethers they come with are not strong enough to hold up to hockey shots, within a few minutes one of them broke, probably from a direct shot, so I knocked one star off for that, but honestly the tethers are really pointless so I will just toss them.

The magnets on these are great and strong and stick to the net frame really well. Wasn't expecting them to work as well as they do, but here we are. Would recommend for all hockey players!

This is my fault, which is why I'm not taking anything away from this. I stupidly thought this was a full set, the magnets and net. Not for this price! Lol. So just know this listing is BYON: Bring Your Own Net. Taking it to a friends house who does, they snapped on easy and did a bit of target practice. It's great for the kiddos to have a hand at aiming and practicing, and for the other adults, daring each other to go best of 4 shots, and quickly switching or calling a spot to compete. Recommended!

I picked up these Shaprshooter Magnetic Hockey Goal Targets for my friend's kiddos who can't get enough hockey. For a 13 and 11 year old, these are perfect. They have strong magnets that keep them attached to the metal goal nets - once hit with the puck they fly into the net and can be easily re-attached. The kids are loving them.The thing I can see eventually happening, especially as these kiddos get stronger with their shots is having these targets break or crack - this could possibly even occur when it's in the negative temps, but only time will tell.Overall, if you've got kiddos in hockey and want to help them hone their puck-shooting abilities, I'd suggest picking up a set of these Sharpshooter Magnetic Hockey Goal Targets.

After the first use I had 2 magnets completely break and fall out, with another that has cracked. This is from using roller hockey pucks, I can only imagine how bad they would break with an ice puck.
