do not buy thinking they will work for a horse lunge whip. These are more like tassels for a couch pillow.

I would have been happy with 2 items if I could get the same quality as what I was trying to replace. These would be too flimsy to function well.

I replaced my cracker on a home-made, 6ft nylon whip with one of these and it's like whole different whip! Mine cracked "okay", but nothing too dramatic. Now it cracks sharp and loud like a whip should. :)
