Raked up the area good, spread right before a good rain and within a week I have at least an inch high all over. Hope it really takes off and last late into the fall or early winter

Great blend for our need in rural East TN.Lush patch where we had construction mud.Expect tp see more deer now.Good to plsny in spits where you gave pulled up nasty Japanese Marching grass.Shady Patch will keep it crowded out.

This is the 2nd time I’ve tried it. First time was the same results. Supposed to be no till which I tried the first time. Tried to till it this time. Put down the recommended lime and fertilizer with it too. Both times this is the results. Save your money and find something else.

came up very fast but not very much for the amount i put out. deer are eating it but there will never be enough.

We planted some old trails off in the pines where nothing else would grow and put a little lime and fertilizer on it and it popped right up and have deer coming in like crazy. Deer will probably have it eaten down pretty quick because we only done 3 small plots with it but we will be doing a lot more next year.

Seems to be coming in great in my high shade area. I don't know if I put it on two heavy but it only covered maybe 1/8 of an acre. Just be aware of that and if you are spreading by hand you need to spread it out a little thin if you want to cover the 1/4 acre it claims to cover.

My Brother from another Mother & I wanted to test something new this season for our Whitetail deer.Amazing buy, quick & easy, no water it did rain one night which for sure helped but wow just amazed.All we did is used a small hoe raking the leaves then into the soil, one week we were sprouting two weeks in we were lush for a small 5x5 area as a tester bucks & doe came in hit this over corn! Just saying well worth it & shipping is always faster than stated

My mom has two chickens in the backyard after our landlord decided that they can no longer graze on the grass which they helped fertilize, we had to pin them up inside of a small garden. They were so depressed one even stopped laying eggs. I ordered this seed to help make them their own little grazing space. The bag is nice and big and will last for a long time for the small area. My mom threw the seeds out on a patch of garden and waters it every night. 3 days later it started to sprout it has been growing vigorously since then :) it is in a very shady spot just like the name suggests and the chickens are so happy with it. it's like they have their own little lawn within the pen. This isn't just for hunters it can be really great for backyard chickens with a small amount of space as well. :) The chickens especially love the clover in it and eat that up right away but the rye is sprouting just like beautiful grass and they like that too. it has improved their quality of life very much in the last few days.
