Nice slip. It does run big, especially on top about one size but I altered it and its fine now.

I’m 5’4” and 125 lbs. Average built lady. I ordered a 40 because I was very confused and went by which general sizes went with what numbers. That turned out to be WAY too big, but that was mostly on me. However, I measured properly this time and ordered a 34 (waist circumference). It fit just fine in the waist, like it said, but the breast area was WAY too big! It felt like I was wearing a baggy T-shirt on my top half. There was at least three inches of pink hable extra material on either side of my chest. If this is supposed to smooth down undergarments under dresses, that definitely won’t do the job. I’m not a small chested person either, so I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do... I might just try to alter it myself (a dangerous feat) or I’ll just return it. Maybe I just still don’t get the sizing system.

Out of scale when it comes to the size. The breast area was way too big for what the measurements say.

Hard to find larger slips, if any slips at all these days. And this one fit the bill perfectly. It's made well and fits well. I am close to 5'7", with a 38DD cup, and wear, on average, an 18W. Hope this helps.

I really like this slip and everything about it, except that it does run a bit large. for me it is to big in the chest and bust area, no matter how much I adjust the straps. I am still trying to work with it because it is very comfortable, I can cut it to fit my dress length and it is very soft.

Shadowline slips have long been sought after in my family.... finding them online was a great surprise as you rarely see them in the stores much anymore. This slip is gorgeous and silky feeling. I love that I can change the length to my liking. However I will not need to at this time.... as longer skirts are in fashion at least for my preferences and being in my 30's now I feel mini dresses are a bit past me. The option to trim the slip is an excellent innovation! Highly recommend!
