High quality chain, has been holding up at 50+ MPH for months on my mini bike.

This roller chain is awesome because it includes so many master links and a chain tool! Usually you would only get one master link, but it is nice to have extra, especially when you are planning to use this in smaller sections. That is exactly what I did, I highly recommend it!

This chain is about half the cost of a name brand chain. If it lasts more than 6000mi on a sportbike with regular care/maintenance then its absolutely worth it. If you can change your own chain then you can totally take advantage of the value. I'd skip this if you have a shop change your chain since the labor costs will make it so it's not cost effective to use a cheaper chain you might need to change more often. I'm currently testing this out on my KTM 390 as a daily commuter. 1200mi in and its running just fine!

Chain, chain break, and 5 master links for $21 is a great deal. Feels like a nice quality chain, fits perfectly on my Coleman CT200U-EX sprockets, and it is nicely lubricated right out of the box. I can't attest to wear and stretching, but if I have problems I will update my review. 5 master links is probably overkill, but will eventually use them all. The chain break is a basic model, and works as it should. I build and restore mini bikes and go karts, and this set has to be the best value I've come across. Highly recommended!

Installed on a Yamaha TTR50. I have my own chain break, it decided to use the provided one for review reasons. The chain brake works, not the greatest, but you will successfully cut the chain to length. The chain is of good quality for a small dirtbike. Comes with plenty of spare master links. Super quiet compared to the stock chain. Great upgrade!

This is a good string, well made X-Ring chain for a motorcycle that take a 520 size chain. It is 120 links long, which is long enough for the vast majority of bikes using this size chain. The links are a heavy steel, the rollers are solid, not split, it is reword with X cross section o-rings which are the best for keeping dirty out, and the pins are quad staked, making this a very well made chain. This chain has an attractive gold color, and looks great on the bike. PLEASE don't think that having an o-ring chain means you do not have to lube it, that couldn't be farther from the facts. The plates themselves need lube, and if you don't keep your chain lubed it will wear out faster, and let the o-rings dry out and break. Use a good quality chain lube, NOT oil or 40 or anything like that. Real chain lube is made to stick to the chain, not fling off like oil does. Spray the chain along both edges, only on the inside of the chain, on the lower run, so that as the chain starts moving at speed the lube will be pushed centrifugally into the chain, not off onto your bike and clothes. I think that for such a well made quality chain, this is an excellent value for the cost.

Chains are tough to review, as outright failure is rare and when it does, usually occurs long after the period of review has passed. Outright failure of a quality chain is rare, bordering on *never* – but a cheap chain will eventually break or seize enough links its likely to break.I'm dropping a star because this is a fairly basic o-ring construction, and is pretty dry coming out of the package. But since it's going to serve as an emergency spare, I haven't cut it or taken it from its packaging. Links are comparable in thickness to other o-ring chains, and it holds to 520 spec. Looks to be standard o-ring, vs. x-ring or other fancy variants of same. This is strange, as the product literature says it's an x-ring, so maybe its just a different style. Regardless, it's a sealed and pre-lubed 520 chain. It'll do what it's supposed to in most applications.Notably, the chain is unusually dry coming out of the package. And since I didn't cut it, I can't describe how much lube is packed into each link - but I'm going to wager *not a lot* compared to more premium chains. But, if you keep your chain clean and lubed, not relying entirely on the o-rings to protect the function, you're probably fine for most bikes / most uses. This said, I have a fairly powerful tuned twin, putting down around 120+ HP, so my use will be for emergencies, and probably try to be nice to it until I can get back to the shop to put a proper one on. But, it's a decent value, and looks like it'll work nicely for my use.

Overall this is a good product. This went on my Ninja 400 and it seems to be holding up just fine. I am happy with the selection of chain master links. I generally avoid the clip on links if at all possible. Riveting your links is always the best option. Do get yourself a nice chain riveter -you will thank yourself for it. I wouldn't say this has any benefit over the other name-brand chain manufacturers out there, so if I were to pay full price for a chain, it would probably be with one of the more reputable chain manufacturers out there. I ended up removing a few links but it fits my sprocket nicely. Overall a good chain with a high price tag.
