A buddy of mine wanted this as a gag gift and it was pretty funny to give it to him at work. The flogger and paddle are novelty grade so if you're looking for a funny gift or want to spice things up in the bedroom, this would be a good starter kit that isn't expensive to try out with a partner. The XOXO really imprints!

The paddle of this set is not as advertised. If you look at the photos one of them shows the paddle as a split set of two parts. Not so. The paddle is one solid piece. It’s made okay, but is really more for show than actual physical contact…. The whip part of this set is cheaply made. The strands are faux leather (as advertised) and are so light that they have no impact when applied. For dress up or cos play there are nicer variations out there.

So, as a horse, I always hope that the lady who rides me will correct me whenever needed. So here's my review of the DERINODEM Horse Leather Crop and Red Faux Whip Set (straight from the horse's mouth).The key word for the 15" faux whip is "faux." The 6 inch handle is included in the 15 inch measurement, and the nine inch flogger tails are much too short (and too soft) to get any snap and/or sting. So the flogger is for show (teasing, fantasy role play, cosplay, etc.), not for actual discipline. That deficiency costs this set one star, in my equine opinion.However the "crop" (which this horse instead would call a "paddle") is a horse of a different color. It will get the immediate attention of any colt or filly in your stable and leave them champing at the bit. The XOXO cut-out is on both sides. This part of the set will work for light sensation play all the way up to heavy attitude adjustment, which the horse will pleasantly feel on her or his hindquarters even days later. This part of the set deserves 5 stars.Thanks to the excellent "crop," this set is highly recommended! Time to saddle up.

This is not for a horse, but a stallion of the human variety. I gave this to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and we had lots of fun with it. The tassled whip is actually very soft and can be gentle or ... not. It would be good for someone who is curious but nervous to try something a little more kinky.The crop is what you really have to look out for or beg for! It's very stiff and well made and will not wilt. Toys aren't for every couple, or even for solo play, but they can make things spicy and learn about yourself a little at the same time.

I wasn't expecting much but these are actually quite nice quality. The whip is actually really nice and softer than I thought it would be since faux leather tends to be quite stiff a lot of the time. Passed expectations and quite enjoyed, glad we got them!

This set is good for the price, and for those who want fun without being too serious about it all. If you're overly serious about your discipline play, this is a probably going to be considered a lame set and not for you. It works for what it is though. A little light smack or two, a few laughs and smiles, and some potential good feelings from it all, and you'll be just fine with this set.
