These are made of some sort of plastic type material which threw me for a loop as I was expecting a metal material. However, they actually look really nice and hold battery tapers nicely. Look great on the mantle and from a distance, look like brass. For the price, I am happy with them

Please do not allow this to be sent to your home. I don’t know where this is coming from but it is disgusting and if you’re someone with sensitivities to such things please avoid at all costs. After reading prior reviews it sounds as if this product just needs to be removed from the website.After ordering a set that was stated to be in ‘Like New’ condition but was actually scratched up, broken, and covered in synthetic fragrance, I then ordered a new set. The new set has mold on it, wreaks of mold, and was wrapped in rotten water damaged paper.Needless to say, both will be headed back to wherever they came from.I’m not someone who’s in any position to bring such things into my home.I had to throw away a dish towel and a brush and scrub my hands many times to get the odor off after regretfully attempting to clean this.They could have been lovely otherwise but are in no way worth it. Please find something else.
