While the comforter is soft and warm you will wake up to feathers all over your body, table, floor, even your television and desk. The feathers seep through the duvet. When I sit on the bed I’m immediately covered with feathers on my clothes. Even when I go to wash my clothes, the feathers are still stuck there. When I dry clean the comforter, the feathers remain. I wanted to keep it because it is very comfortable, but the amount of feathers is too overwhelming, so I got rid of it. Avoid, unless you don’t mind being covered in feathers.

I purchased this, hoping it would be an all year-round comforter, but as soon as the weather got warmer, I realized this was much better for cooler nights. If you’re looking for something that you can use year round, this is not it. That said, it is fantastic during the colder weather and will now be my fall/winter comforter before switching to something more lightweight.

This blanket is so soft and fluffy, my only complaint is that is is extremely warm… the reviews I read before buying said around 48 hours to fluff up but mine took around 4-5 days. Definitely worth the money.

It had been a while since I had a down comforter, and I didn’t want to spend a whole lot on a top of the line one since Winter isn’t very cold here in Southern California anyway.It looked and felt great right out of the box and really didn’t need much time to “fluff up”Feels good on the skin if you don’t want to put it inside a Duvet cover, which you probably should, but I just lay my Duvet cover on top of it so I can just pull the cover off if the 2 combined are a tad too warm.It’s warm without being hot, and lightweight enough not to feel heavy. Feels light-to-medium in weight.There was a very slight smell of feathers for a few days, but it was pleasant and not a bad one at all.I’m pleased with my purchae, especially for the price.Looks just about as good as my last Down comforter which I got from the Pacific Coast Feather company if I remember right, whcih was excellent but at least $200I’ve only had this one for a couple of months so I can’t say how good the durability is yet

I love this blanket! I searched and tried a few different "lightweight " feather quilts that ended up being garbage. Most of them are "crinkly" or you can feel the feathers poking out...this one has a 500 fill power which for me- a hot sleeper, mid 40s female is fine. I can't stand the higher fill power- I sweat and feel like I'm being smothered. Not this one. It's just right and very lightweight so you feel like you are sleeping in a cloud. For reference, I do turn on the heat in the winter and the thermostat set to 63 degrees at which I am comfortable under this blanket. I live in Texas and for me this is a perfect winter blanket- the other 3 seasons I use a silk duvet which is also nice. Then I got a nice bamboo duvet cover for these and they are perfect! Highly recommend!

Came well packaged. I heard down comforter is not supposed to be compressed for a long time, and it came nice and fluffed up in a clear carrier. It smells just fine, with no harsh chemical smell. The packaging says to allow two days for full decompression so I assume I don't need to wash it. Out of precautions I still washed it and dried it. It had no trouble fluffing up. I would, however, try to avoid washing it as much as possible. It is the exact kind I needed, very light and snuggly, without being too warm.

The package arrived on-time during this special season. This white down comforter super comfortable to sleep with. It is light in weight. It is warm but perfect for all seasons. I live in southern California. This comforter is a perfect fit for the So-Cal weather, since in so-Cal it gets cold at night, hot during the day throughout the year. The product has no smells. It is clean, packed in a clear bag. I have been sleeping with the comforter for three weeks. I am satisfied with the purchase. Recommend.
