The SereneLife portable toilet worked very well when I needed it. The flush mechanism was sufficient to clear the bowl sufficiently. The waste tube foldability is great, making it easy to dump, then stow. The toilet felt like it was very sturdy. I feel the toilet also has reassuring stability. I was happy to experience no leakage. A great experience overall. However; I am a large man, and my personal choice will be a toilet with an oval seat.

We bought this to use in our gazebo/poolside shed (which is set back quite a way from our home), so that we don't need walk all the way back to the house and track water inside just to use the loo. This model was the closest to the height of our "real" house toilets, and so it is the easiest for me and my old joints to get on and off from. The other models we tried were shorter. I am a heavier woman, and I feel very secure on this seat - it doesn't feel wobbly or like I might break it, and the seat size is just fine. "flushing" is very easy. I found that it works best for me if I open the bottom before I spray the water, as it reduces the splash. Because the toilet is in an enclosed small shed, it can get pretty warm. I have found that adding an RV toilet deodorizer works wonders on reducing the smell. Emptying the toilet is a breeze - just unhook the top and bottom, spin the tube and dump it down the drain (I bring it inside and drain it in the toilet). We only use this toilet for #1, and have a sign instructing guests to put their TP in the adjacent garbage can. This makes clean-up a breeze. After I drain it, I spray it down good with the garden hose. Every few times I will do a deeper clean of it. This method works for us, and we are so happy to have this toilet!

I bought this to take my 90yo mother camping with us last weekend. She has a bedside commode that is portable. I used that minus the bucket and placed it over this toilet so that she has the sturdy frame and side handles to help herself up. It worked perfectly. I did have to move it and close the lid and flush it for her. One night, I moved it into the pop up trailer and that’s when I noticed how well it kept the odor trapped. When we left camp, I took the bottom black water to the campground bathrooms and emptied it there. I poured some water in it for a rinse and emptied again. Since I used a tablet to break up the waste and smell it was all liquids and didn’t smell nasty. It was so easy to clean out! When I got home I gave it another rinsing in the black water tank and the bowl with a little pinesol and water then let it dry. Easy peasy. It is light and very portable and sturdy. I believe this will help with taking my elderly mother out more places in the future. I definitely recommend.

This compact portable toilet fits neatly in my Four Wheel Camper and tucks out of the way in an inconspicuous cubby. The top & bottom halves come apart easily for emptying and securely latch back together afterwards. The swivel purge spout is perfect in keeping the mess factor at a minimum. So far so good.

The waste disposal bags were easy to attach and remove, keeping the whole process hygienic and mess-free. Emptying and cleaning the unit was also a breeze, thanks to the well-designed system. One of the standout features of this porta potty was its durability. This porta potty is a charm in my opinion!I have used over a period of 2 months and it's very easy to empty in an outhouse or regular toilet. As other commented - Don't put the TP you use in it; use a small garbage on the side for it so you only have human waste to empty and it goes like a charm (ok.. it's still a gross task but honestly its no worst then emptying your RV tank in the sewer and goes like a charm!) Obviously use some TST deodorant to help keep the odor away and help the composting process - easily do 4 to 5 days for 1 person using it continually.Very sturdy and fit in our RV bath so winter camping is a lot more fun now.Transporting the waste tank is easy, yoi don't see any of the gross stuff cause the lid is closed and so far I felt very safe transporting from my camper to a toilett or outhouse without fear i'll be splashed...As i said... love it! One of our best investment for dry camping and winter camping.
