This is the real thing, works great on any vocalslist and sounds better/more polished than an SM58. Durable and worth the price. The clip is just 'ok' but works just fine

I've graduated from other less expensive microphones to the Sennheiser 9 series as my singing has improved. I rarely sing on stage or in a noisy room and have an audience to 10 people in a medium size room.I started off with a e945 and it suited my voice much better than any other mike. However, its super cardioid design meant I must have the mike positioned very accurately. This allows using some mike tricks to lesson or increase some effects, by moving the mike. But this can become tiring after a long session of over a few hours, and I decided to get a e935 with its more forgiving cardioid pattern, especially since there wasn't any outside sound or noise. So far so good! the 935 sounds almost as good as a 945, but there is a tiny slight difference where the 945 is very slightly better in tonality, but it's so minor, you wouldn't be able to tell in a blind test, or maybe it's only in my mind!If you were singing on stage in a noisy environment, the e945 would be the way to go.

After two years of extensive use, I can confidently say that the Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Mic is a game-changer. I’ve been using the Shure SM58 with my Bose L1 Pro system, and while SM58 was good, it never felt extraordinary. The plastic build and occasional feedback noise were noticeable drawbacks. However, the Sennheiser e935 is on a whole new level in terms of both build quality and sound quality. It’s solidly built, and the sound quality is phenomenal. Not once have I experienced feedback noise, which is a significant improvement. The e935 is a powerful handheld mic. It has a beautifully balanced sound and the clarity of a condenser mic. It works wonderfully for both female and deeper male voices, making it versatile and suitable for a wide range of users. One of the most striking features is its level of feedback rejection. It’s simply incredible and perfect for moderately loud stages. The e935 has a well-crafted frequency pattern with a reasonable presence boost and decent bass roll-off. The gentle transition makes it sound very natural. It easily cuts through the mix, yet you won’t hear a pinch of harshness that you might find in condensers. This made in Germany mic is very rugged that will last forever but it also comes with 10-year warranty. In conclusion, the Sennheiser e935 is a significant upgrade from the Shure SM58. It offers superior build and sound quality, and I am highly satisfied with its performance over the past two years. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable, and affordable handheld mic.

As always, Sennheiser has good quality. I know they aren't as good as they used to be but nothing is. However, I am always impressed by the build quality and sound I get from these mics. Sturdy, and yet very sensitive, they have excellent response, and good noise suppression. For on stage, live performance, they are hard to beat.

I've already bought a couple of this across the years. Both still working after several years, the quality is just so good, one of my favorite mics.

Great mid range detail, noticed it on the first recording I made, forces me to be a more exacting and controlled vocalist.I bought the 935 and the 945 at the same time to compare on stage as well as in the studio, I kept the 935 because it is virtually immune to feedback, which was the downfall, for me, of the 945 (see my 945 review for details.)No feedback even with my stage monitor really cranking! High range seems to be a bit boosted, but great depth and detail. The 945 has better low range volume, which can be boosted with EQ on the 935.Since I’m a solo act, and do not have a sound tech, I would have preferred it to have a switch, but that’s a little gripe about a really fine mic.

Overall, I really liked this mic. As a soprano, it captured my voice very well. However, I was not aware that you needed to have an interface with matching impedance to get the best sound quality. The impedance is how much power is being put back into the interface by the mic itself. If the impedance of the mic is higher than the interface, it can override the system and cause feedback. I only found this out the day my delivery was set to arrive. So, my recommendation would be to be sure to have an interface that is higher or on the same level as the mic that you connect it to. I am currently using the Forsurite Scarlett 3rd Gen which is 200 ohms, but this mic is 350 ohms. As a result, the interface cannot handle the mic well at all. However, if you have the right interface, I am sure this mic would work fine. I am getting a Shure 55sh II Gen instead. It is the same price and has slightly lower range than the Sennheiser but it has an impedance of 150 ohms, which is perfect. I usually don’t write reviews on products, but I felt the need to write one so that people don’t waste time and money like I did. If you have the right interface, I am sure that this mic would work fine for you! Thank you! ☺️

We are a 3 piece band. A family band. My daughter is 15, she’s got a nice contralto going without too much power. My son, 13, is adjusting from his voice change, he went from an alto to a unsettled baritone. Lots of power, though, and perfect pitch. As for me, I am a bass who can go pretty high. We do the range of songs, from Obladi-Oblada to Fly me to the moon, from classic rock to classic jazz. Some we scream, some we whisper. Also, we do not have a microphone dedicated to one person. This is because we each play 4 or 5 or 6 instruments and we keep switching. Almost every song has a different set up. Sometimes we sing lead, sometimes back up, depending.Ok, so now that you understand the situation, I need to say that I bought just one of those seinheiser. I wanted to try it and replace the old EV 967 I believe is their number that we had. We loved the EV. We put them through the Bose L2 system. It has a tune controller. That little controller helps a lot to define the hardware you plug into it. That was for the EV. So I tried the Seinheiser. It shines through it. It is so clear, so vibrant, so accurate. We are studying blending, dynamics, articulations, harmonies. We can hear everything. The Seinheiser project every little details. So, I bought 3 more of the Seinheiser e935. One on the drums, one on the bass, one on the guitar and one on the keyboard. They are all adjusted the same: same volume, same eq, same trim, same reverb. We love them. Also, they are heavy. They feel like good craftsmanship. My children are careful with the gear in general, but, still, they’re kids, and adult size, and clumsy. Those microphone haven’t moved. They stay with the same qualities. They’ve been dropped, bumped, slapped a few times. They’re still going strong. We do three rehearsal per week. It has been a blast, these Seinheiser have helped a lot. It forces to be aware of what we sing. No muddy sound here. Just plain music when we can manage it.

I can not say enough about this mic, It is clear and cuts out the back feed, and you can hear yourself very clear. My son who also plays in a Rock band used it and he also says its the business and has got one on order, I had a hell of a job getting it back off him. I have been round the shops and tested them and looked at the price, non could match this price. If you want a good Mic, this is the one for you.
