For being a kit all the pieces should work together. But the clip for the mic to the stand that is provided is the wrong connection. It’s too small. So you can not use the mic on this stand. You need to fix this. I saw someone else on here had that issue too.

Used this brand for many years and for both price and quality can’t be beat. I would suggest this is a better all purpose vocal mic than the Sure SM-58.

You cannot go wrong with this microphone for the money! It’s a great dynamic mic with clear vocal pickup and low feedback! I already have three of them I have been using over the last five years. We just added another singer to our group so I bought another one. I have seen these mics get dropped on the floor and did not dent the windscreen or even scratch the mic! If you are looking to buy a dynamic mic at a budget, this is the one!

This little package is perfect for my use at a school, and private studio. The mic quality is exceptional, and the stand is, well...standard. (It works, it's affordable, and it's just like the other boom stands out there!) The cable is standard, lightweight, and easy enough to use. It doesn't have the little velcro wrap that some of the other "higher end" cables have, but no biggie.
