I used this for a small job installing osb on a roof. Worked fine for that one. Next job it stopped working. DO NOT BUY. It’s not a real senco. It’s not made in America. Senco is. And now I’m passed my return period that was only a month long!

While I was waiting for the staples to arrive (neither Home Depot or Lowes carries much of a supply) I added a squirt of oil to the gun and let it sit. When the nails came I set about fixing the fence, which is why I bought this tool. Not one misfire, not one jam, it worked perfectly over the course of about 500 staples. I did buy Made in the USA Staples from a small company in California, perhaps that helped. My only complaint is that when the description said "Tool Only" it meant just that, I had to go and buy the air bushing and nipple so I could connect an air hose. It would have nice if the company had included it and charged me an extra $5-10 or included an option to add those items to my purchase. Amazon could also have made it an option to add it to my purchase.

This is a quality tool!Hits like a hammer and performs very well. The stapler does tend to double fire but I have found this to be the nature of the beast with medium crown staplers. So be cautious and keep fingers well out of the way with this and any pneumatics.I have 20+ years of experience and I am very picky about my tools. I am very happy with this stapler.

First day it arrived I loaded up 2 sleeves of staples. Gun instantly jammed. Fought with the stapler for the entire day, jam after jam. Once I came home I read some reviews about a design flaw. After only a few minutes of reading I realized that it works much better with one sleeve of staples. As the next day approached I tried the new method. With only one sleeve of staples it fires like a dream. Only jammed twice and shot over 700 staples. It does have a tendency to double fire but isn’t a deal breaker for me. All in all it’s a decent stapler for the price point.

I checked a ton of reviews on this item before purchase & was hesitant based on some flooring professionals reviews of the product. We laid subfloor in a three bedroom house (all rooms of the house) using 1 1/2 inch heavy staples. gun only jammed once and maybe double fired about 10 times total during the entire project. it was GREAT and fast using this stapler. The only piece I didn;t realize was not provided with this product was the air hose connection on the gun. Had to run out and get one to start using it. outside of that I would recommend this product for a beginner like us!

I fired about 4,000 1.5 inch staples for a wood dowel fence with wire cattle fencing on the inside. Stapler did rather well. Drove all staples in at about 100 psi or more in the line. Anything less and it won't drive deep enough. In fact, the drive at 150 psi is so powerful, that if you don't adjust the driving depth all the way out, the staple goes so far into the wood that it cuts the metal wire of the fence. This is a plus, cause you should prefer better driving depth that can be adjusted out rather than poor driving depth that can't. The flaws were these: #1. About every 10-20 staples the stapler would fire 2-3 staples like an automatic machine gun. It would do this despite me not trying to do it. #2. About every 800-1000 staples, the feeding mechanism would lock out (like a tongue sticking out). I would disconnect the air hose and it would go back in, but when I reconnected it, it would go back out not allowing another staple to fire. I finally figured out how to fix it, you had to push against the wood real hard to shove it back in and fire the staple gun. This would re-set it back to proper location to continue. #3. About every 600 staples, the gun would leak air from within. Again, the way to fix it was to fire the staple gun again and what ever was lodged open, would reset. #4. This one was down right dangerous. 3 times during the job, the stapler began spontaneously firing like a machine gun despite my finger not being on the trigger. It is suppose to not fire unless pressed against something. twice it happened immediately after a fire and kept going despite removing it off the wood, once it happened spontaneously just holding it without ever putting it on wood or firing it. Let me tell you, those staples went out like bullets, went into hard wood about 0.5 to 1 cm from 3 - 4 feet away. DO NOT POINT THIS GUN FOR ANY REASON IN ANY DIRECTION OTHER THAN WOOD. The way to fix and stop this issue was to disconnect the air hose and it would reset. I will say, despite these issues, I never had a jam that required removal of a staple or opening the feeding mechanism. The stapler otherwise did a fantastic job getting the fence done. I would say, this is a hard working stapler that drives well and is meant for hard long jobs. That being said, staplers with better safety mechanisms tend to jam more or not drive as well. That was one of the criticisms of the comparable Dewalt. I would still recommend this stapler, but you have to be aware that it can be dangerous. I guess the way I see it, any and all staplers and nailers have to be treated like loaded weapons and never pointed toward anyone. I realize you may be thinking, who would point it at anyone, but just in manipulation, you can inadvertently point it at someone and they can get hurt. Be extra careful with this one. I give it 3.5 stars overall.

I have had this for about 60 days. I bought it for the sole purpose of assembling honeybee boxes. I was formally using 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" long x 18 ga. staples. I felt those staples were just not adequate to hold the joint together. Please note that I glue everyting with Titebond II. I use between 28-40 staples per bee box based on size of beebox. I bought the re-conditioned tool and to be honest with you, it looked like a brand new one. I was able to save 50 bucks by buying a recon-tool. I have shot about 6000(+) staples thru it. I have only used 1 1/2" long staples.PROS: It has not jammed at all, not even once. I have used the depth of fastener adjustment and it was quite simple to use and was accurate. I have my air compresser set at about 90-100 psi. I do lube the gun about every 1000(+/-) staples.CONS: None really..........except the trigger is very sensitive. If not careful, you can fire 2 or even 3 staples before letting go of the trigger. Not a complaint only an observation. The more I use the gun the better my "trigger pulling or shooting ability gets".I would highly recommend this to anyone. It is probably one of the best nail gun/stapler I have ever bought.
