Heavy, metal and sturdy. I’m building a custom gym for my RV. Since this is just the mounting hardware, I have the flexibility to design it however I want to. Really great!

Came with instructions and a second set of hardware. It was easy to install and set up. I mounted it to a joist in my basement and put a 70lb Everlast bag on it. Been holding with repeated use for several weeks now. Only con is it shakes the whole House when someone is using the bag, but that is more my choice of mounting areas. If mounted on an independent beam it would be easier on the shaking.

It's much better then the hook I have in 1 joist. The plate is heavy steel and painted black. It's nicely done. The ring is on a built in sqivel which moves very smoothly. It really makes a difference with the bag. The included hardware allows you to screw it on with lag bolts or bolt-bolts. It's well made and worth the current price of about $21.

I used this to mount a cable workout system to a beam on a high ceiling for my home gym. The maximum that system can handle is 400 pounds so it is nice to have some wiggle room in the maximum load strength. The swivel works excellently and with the solid construction and multiple screw holes I was able to get a very solid mount using some lag bolt screws instead of the ones included with this kit.

I had a different use in mind. I purchased a 65 inch kids swing... the saucer/webbing style that can hold multiple children and is intended to be hung outside from a tree. However its winter.I thought I would give this a shot. It has exceeded my expectations. I have had three kids in the 50-60 lb range all on it at once swinging to the point they are hitting the ceiling and doing 360 spins at speed. Is it the safest thing in the world... likely not. It has held up great though and I have not seen any issues with the connections or fitment to make me think the hardware will fail. The biggest selling point for me was the way this bracket attaches to the stringer. With some of the other options you are driving screws from the bottom up. That would likely be fine but with a kids safety in mind I wanted to have some sheer fasteners to make sure I wasn't relying on a screw thread biting into wood. The three bolts are good quality and give me that reassurance I needed. The only thing that I am keeping an eye on is the fitment between the cotter pin that attaches the buckle to the bracket. It has two rubber/plastic washers to keep the metal from wearing. This allows a bit of slop to keep things moving but with 100-150 lbs putting intense dynamic strain on these parts I am hopeful when I go to move the swing outside I won't notice a huge difference in the tolerance of the bearing and pins.I am impressed and would buy again even if it only lasts 1-2 years. Well made.

I've been using the SELEWARE Wood Beam Punching Bag Hanger for a few months now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my home setup. The installation was straightforward, and the hanger's design ensures that my hoist swings freely without any wobble or shake, which is crucial for effective use. The 360° rotation feature is particularly impressive, allowing for a full range of motion that mimics the real hoist experience.Durability and StabilityThe construction of this hanger is top-notch. Made from heavy-duty steel, it supports my hoist with ease, and I've had no concerns about the ceiling integrity. The bearings swivel smoothly, reducing the stress on the wood beam and ensuring that the hoist moves naturally. This is a significant improvement over some competitor products that might not offer the same level of stability or could potentially damage your ceiling over time.A Consideration for SomeOne thing to note, which might be a downside for some, is that the hanger does require a solid wood beam for installation. If your home lacks such structural support, you might need to look elsewhere or reinforce your ceiling. However, for me, this was not an issue as my attic has the necessary beams, and the hanger has proven to be a reliable and sturdy addition to my hoist equipment.I've used this hanger to hold my hoist going into the attic, and it's held up wonderfully. The smooth rotation and minimal vibration make for an authentic hoist experience, and I can confidently say it's worth every penny for anyone serious about their hoist setup.

This was easy for my husband to install. It has saved us so much space because we were using the large metal hanging bag holder that took up so much space in our garage. With this it save space and appears to be secure but it cannot be moved as easily as the metal base holder. If we wanted to change locations we would have to create another hole in the beam. Also it was good that our garage has an open ceiling so our beams were already exposed.
