Locking Lever
Gauges feature locking levers to lock the teeth in place once an object has been contoured for easy tracing and are supplied with an allen key to adjust and control the tightness for easier contouring.

Damaged previously opened box and packaging, item not damaged but not functioning either, more than likely a returned item, very disappointing.

As soon as I pulled the smaller one out of the pack I toggled the lock. I found the loose position and tried to take a pattern. - Nothing. So I found a screwdriver and loosened the screw. It didn't help. I tried (in the loose position) to take a pattern and the fingers simply bent out of the way.Completely useless.

In certain applications, it works well. Doing a 45 degree corner, the frame is too big. Cannot make many close type of measurements. It appears to work best only with outside or flush measurements.

replace our own floor. this made cutting the floor planks around the door trim so much easier. I didn’t have to re-cut the pieces to get a tight fit.... saved the floor tile and reduced waste!
