I bought 2 of these and at first I really liked them. However after a few months one of the monitors developed a faded part of the screen and then died all together after 2 years of occasional use.

I love this monitor. I have used it twice in the field and it works amazing. Super light weight, good quality image and easily switchable between HDMI and SDI. Only down points: Menu is quirky and there isn't enough room to mount a yoke plate for an adjustable monitor baby 5/8" mount so I had to make my own plate. Not a huge deal. After I set my monitor to be able to mount on a monitor stand it was game on. My other monitor is a $3,000 SmallHD 13" and it's three times the lighter and 10 times the less expensive. This is a great client monitor. I use my SmallHD in the helicopter to operate with and the 13" Seetec for my client.

Looked good when when it worked. Died after 2 years. No idea how to get it serviced in Australia.

I needed a small broadcast Rec 709 accurate monitor for Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio Decklink output. The cool thing is that it can take a 4k feed and display the whole image on its 1920 x 1080 screen, which I need because I mainly work with 2.35:1 4k images in DaVinci. You do loose a tiny bit on the sides tho.My main display is LG C1 48" Oled that is calibrated and this little monitor is accurate. Pretty dope because I don't have room for anything bigger. Haven't used on set yet...

I purchased two of these for remote gigs. One crapped out after the second use. The other is still functioning but I am treating it like its a cracked pigeon egg - extremely protective case for travel. Picture quality is great. The velcro strips included with it in order to keep the sunshade on are near worthless as the adhesive component is not enough to contend with the pull of the velcro, I ended up just gaffer taping it on - which looks "really professional" in front of the client. not thrilled with this purchase at all.Maybe for a studio setting these would be perfect, but for the on location shooting I do, I will need to find a better solution.

Great picture. Not too much latency on the HDMI port (haven't tried SDI yet). Convenient yoke stand is great for table top use. Using it as a program monitor for the organist on the top of the organ console so that he can track the livestream broadcast as the services progress. HDMI with NDI BirdDog Mini from a TriCaster is however too latent to follow the conductor; but this is a system thing, not the monitor. Rock solid reliability so far, about a month in. A++

Generally, I like this monitor more than not. However, there are a few nits that bother me but not enough to return it.I bought this monitor to primarily use on my camera jib when I need to run on batteries in the field. To that function it works with an added benefit, I can run the whole rig on one Gold mount battery ** The monitor comes with a V-Mount PLATE ATTACHED!**The attached V-mount plate is set in such a way that the P-tap outlet is unusable!I am transitioning from gold mount to V-mount batteries so I have an adapter plate for my older batteries. Using that, I can now power my whole rig from the big battery most of the day from the p-tap.My next issue is that the screen is as shiny as a mirror. Although it does come with a substantial sunshade, in a moving situation, it will catch any bright light and reflect it. My solution was to cut down a laptop screen protector and apply it to this screen.Next is that the color of the safe marker cannot be changed from red as far as I can tell. Finally, I wish that there were an option to read out the battery power or voltage so that I can more easily keep track of the battery. The video is very sharp and can handle 4K inputs with no issue. And colors seem to be very accurate.

Been using it for a few months now. It is a fantastic monitor for the money. Color is good, brightness is alright, there's professional menu options, love the v-mount option. Other reviews have stated the v-mount is flimsy. It is cheap, but I haven't had an issue yet. Works for me.The only thing that brings this down to 3 stars vs 5 is the terrible quality of the headphone jack. The amp they use is just crap. I use this as an additional monitor in the office, and its great for that, but when I use it in the field as a producer or director monitor, I'm constantly having to reassure them about the recorded audio quality cause it sounds terrible through the headphones. The noise that is injected into the feed by the poor quality amp is almost completely overwhelming.Am I going to spend another 600+ dollars to get a monitor with a better headphone jack, no. But it does cheapen the experience and can create subtle trust issues with clients. Not something you really want.
