These are a great alternative to the heavy shin guards. We use them for indoor and futsal. We still wear the thicker, heavy guards on the main field during outdoor practice and regular season games. Would recommend for sure.

My son is 8 and I ordered the mediums. Of note, I didn't measure my son's calves before I ordered. Kinda winged it and I got lucky. These fit mostly well, albeit a little big for him. Despite that they worked out great today and he liked these much better than the traditional shin guards he had that used Velcro to stay on. The straps on those would get behind the knee and would irritate him. These don't do that simply because there is no Velcro. He prefers to wear his guards over his socks, although he couldve done either. But what I liked, although they weren't super tight, they stayed in place. I dont recall seeing him adjust these once.One thing I wish we couldve tested is how well they handle a kick to the shins. Since these are foam and not hard plastic, I dont think they handle a seriously hard shot as well as plastic. The two games my son has tested these hes either managed to not take a shot to the leg, or did and didnt notice. I asked him to put these on and let me kick him in the shin but he said no.

It is very good, sturdy and easy to use, accurate as described. The product is excellent. They fit my legs perfectly.
