This is an amazing way to open wine bottles so effortlessly and easy to use, it looks very stylish with its stainless steel color, the best part of this is that its not battery operated and can be recharged, the battery lasts a long time after being fully charged. The foil cutter is so easy to use and it has the perfect shape to cut the foil from the bottles the other great feature is that it comes with a reusable corch to close up unfinished bottles.

My sister and I both have hand issues (she has nerve damage and I had reconstructive hand surgery). My sister enjoys entertaining and hosting large gatherings at her lovely home. However, since she has trouble with her hands, opening wine bottles can be a bit of a challenge. Of course, she can always ask her husband or someone else to help, but she likes the autonomy to do it herself. This opener gives her the ability to easily handle even the most stubborn cork. It works flawlessly, and we’ve never had a cork break or a bottle fail to open. The lighting is a neat extra touch and the charge lasts for quite a long time.Even if your hands are fine, it’s a fun tool, especially if you like to entertain a lot.

Completely exceed my expectations! The Secura wine opener is very well made. My Rabbits have lasted a couple of years before dying. If it lasts just as long I am happy. Liked it so much bought another as a gift for someone else. Might make it into a few more gift baskets....

As someone who has bartended for many years in my past, I have always raved about two step wine bottle opener, they are compact and work well. I never thought I would find an opener I like better than that until I got this one. I honestly don't think there is a simpler way to open up a bottle of wine.To open the bottle, you simply but the device over the bottle, while holding the bottle and the opener you click the button. The button doesn't even need to be held, simply push to turn it on and it does all the work. The cork screw starts to turn and the opener goes down until the cork screw is in all the way, once that happens it starts to pull up on the cork to get it out, it is that simple! To remove the cork from the opener, simply push the other button once and it will go in reverse to remove the cork. The housing is well made and looks good in stainless steel. It charges using USB-C which is great as I always have one of those cables plugged in somewhere in the kitchen (it also includes a cable). It is not very loud when in use and just works. Also as a nice bonus, it includes a foil cutter. This thing is amazing and I think every wine drinker should have one like this. It is circular, you simply put it over the top of the bottle, pinch and turn. The little blades cleanly cut off the top of the foil, again, so much easier than a traditional wine opener with a little knife.Overall I am super happy with this opener, it is easy to use, works extremely well, rechargeable, and stylish in my opinion. It would not stand out on the kitchen counter next to the salt and pepper grinders. This is a must have for a wine drinker and also makes for a great gift!

I was skeptical as to how well this would work knowing it takes a decent amount of force to remove a cork in most cases but this opener did it flawlessly. The included foil cutter also does a good job. You just place it on top of the bottle and gently squeeze while giving a half turn and the foil is neatly cut away just below the edge. Then you just sit the opener against the top of the bottle and tap the bottom button while holding both firmly in place. The opener illuminates blue on the bottom and then screws down into the cork while pulling it up and stops automatically once it’s removed. The corkscrew goes quite deep into the cork and actually goes through the bottom when opening. To eject the cork from the opener you hit the other button which illuminates the bottom in red while it turns the opposite way to eject the cork back out of the bottom. It’s all very effortless. The look of the unit is quite nice as well with its stainless steel body on top of the transparent plastic bottom. When storing you can set the opener on top of the foil cutter where it acts as a small stand. It looks good on the countertop among other appliances and doesn’t take up much space with its tiny footprint. At first the light seemed like a gimmick but it’s actually very handy as an obvious visual indicator since there are no markings for the buttons themselves….Blue for cork removal on the bottle and red to eject the cork when done. The blue light also illuminates when charging. The instructions say certain synthetic, etc corks may be difficult for it but so far it’s worked well on the natural corks on the bottles I’ve tried it on. A full charge is good for about 30 bottles so a charge should last a decent while (depending how much wine you drink, heh). Charging takes about an hour and the manual cautions to use a 1A charger (not included) and not a fast charger. It also to suggests to unplug it immediately once the charging lights show full to prevent overcharging. Its charging circuitry doesn’t seem as “smart” as other devices and needs a little more user attention than I’m used to but not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.Overall it’s a well functioning unit that doesn’t break the bank.

Great gimmick to make it easy to open wine bottles but…the spiral piece got stuck after 4 uses! Not worth the money.
