Made from thick, soft, super-absorbent microfiber fabric with a terrycloth handfeel, it dries in a flash. Microfiber has a surface area around 40 times that of a regular fiber, so it dries much faster than an average towel. The Sea to Summit Tek Towel has a press-stud tab that attaches to a pack or clothesline. A molded, EVA storage case is included for easy packing. I swim Monday thru Friday and walk to the neighborhood pool with my backpack. This two year old towel is lightweight--even when damp-- and doesn't take up the space that bulky terry towels do. Absorbancy is far superior: no rubbing necessary, just throw over your shoulders and pat yourself dry. Colors are terrific. Recommendation: My friend and I bought the large towels because they're the perfect cover-up while we're doing our hair and makeup. AND, they don't slip, i.e., they stay on your body. What a concept!

I've used this for after shower and also at the beach and it works perfectly. Also fries very quickly. I wish they had the tiny wash cloth size, had to get the very small towel.

Way better than the cheap ones which I also have. Dries quick! Well made! Doesn’t stick to you like a wet shower curtain when your doing off with it, feels more like a real bath towel!

Used it while traveling and staying at hostels. Folds down small for travel but a good size for use. Comfortable and dries quickly.

This is the third travel towel I’ve tried this summer. Several years ago I was given a Sea to Summit backpacking towel as a gift, and was fond of it. This summer I decided to try a beach towel of a similar material.Unfortunately I couldn’t remember the brand name, or find the old towel. I tried two other towels I found here on Amazon with mixed results. Then, luckily I found my old backpacking towel, and was able to order the real thing.This is the king of beach towels. It’s lighter and more absorbent than a cotton towel, and softer than all other travel towels. The hanging loop is conveniently in the middle of the towel, instead of the corner. This allows it to be hung, without touching the floor.If there was one feature I’d wish for, I’d be a zippered pocket in one corner, like the second best towel I tried, but this is a tiny quibble about an outstanding product. Bravo Sea to Summit.

This is the forth one I have purchased... first 2 lasted about 5 years-these are for "bug-out" stashing for future uses-just in case, they don't make them anymore [forward thinking] . they dry you very fast, easy to dry out...

I need a quick drying towel for travel that I might have to occasionally use wet. I had one years ago that met all these requirements, so I know such a towel exists. This one is a little rougher than the one I had 15 years ago - but it is also more compact.My biggest complaint about the X-large Sea to Summit Tek Towel? It's way too big. This thing is GIANT.I ordered another in a smaller size.I have ordered every travel towel on amazon; I mean that literally. I have spent hundreds. La utilizo para el padel y estupendo. Viene en un estuche de goma así como cuadrado. Goma blanda con cremallera. Además de esta tengo 3 mas de otros colores para la montaña y para la playa. Las utilizo mucho por lo pequeña que son y su poder de secado

Que du bon sur ce produit. Très bien emballé avec sa pochette pour ranger la serviette qui est toute douce et essuie exceptionnellement bien (ce qu'on lui demande), sèche très vite et prends réellement peu de place dans une valise. Je recommande à tous les acheteurs.
