Works great. Only issue is that when installing it does not have a piece to center it and keep it from moving side to side. I tried inserting original but it does not fit.

Replacement for a broken gas shock for the hood. Worked perfectly. Suggest you add two “spring” washers to hold the axels for this in place.

Item was new but would not compress at all. I thought maybe it was not made for my application but then I used a car jack to try and press it together and it still would not compress. I wanted it to work!
