KELLY Mouthpieces' FAQ: 1) How do KELLY Mouthpieces compare to old-fashioned brass mouthpieces? A) More comfortable! Feel is softer & warmer! Response & sound are the same! Price is FANTASTIC! Colored, too! How durable are KELLY Mouthpieces? Our Lexan material is virtually indestructible! Won't scratch the rim or dent the shank if dropped! Same material as bulletproof glass & safety eyeglass lenses! I'm a bit skeptical of these colorful KELLY Mouthpieces... Of course you're skeptical. For over 100 years we've all come to know brass. Don't let the color fool you - we have a high quality mouthpiece with a NEW & REVOLUTIONARY design and construction! But, the best proof is: Try one for yourself! Why are KELLY Mouthpieces better for outdoor playing? The material does NOT conduct cold or heat like brass mouthpieces. The temperature remains neutral to inclement conditions! Why are KELLY Mouthpieces colored? Why NOT?! Never before could you play mouthpieces with your school colors, corps colors, or favorite colors. Now you can! Where are they made? They are made entirely in Wisconsin, USA!!

honestly really pleasantly surprised :) was skeptical about buying a mouthpiece that isnt metal but i think this is a really good option that doesnt cost you an arm and a leg- sounds great! also just cool having a fun colored mouthpiece so bonus points there esp for kiddos to get them excited about music and practicing

My son plays the trumpet and needed this for hitting some higher notes. Junior year of high school band. They had to play in pairs but on this specific day there were only 3 of them so he played twice. Each time he hit the really high notes immediately without straining. He was shocked and surprised. This was his story when he came home. So I say it's a great piece from his perspective.

Don't you just hate it when it's cold and everything else is frozen? Well now your mouthpiece doesn't have to be! It's plastic so it wont be excepted in band programs necessarily, and you surely won't get the best sound or even fit; but that's not why you're buying this now are you? For practice, messing around, or looks, this is pretty cool, but I just don't feel its role as a mouthpiece gets a perfect score, and you shouldn't use this as your main piece. Hope this helps

If your embouchure can support such a shallow cup then this might be a good mouthpiece, but I couldn't get anything out of it without bottoming out. It's all dependent on the person really

I would be shocked, except plastic doesn't conduct electricity, so I'll go with amazed! I don't know where folks get off saying they get a cheap sound. Don't be blaming this mouthpiece if your lips aren't up to the job. This thing is fantastic. It's smooth and comfortable. I would use it to replace my Schilke 13a4a in a heartbeat, and I love that mouthpiece. I was hoping to replace my Yamaha Bobby Shew, but Bobby still has this one beat for screaming. The Kelly is not quite as shallow, although it still provides a great deal of support. If Jim Kelly ever comes out with a Super Screamer you can bet I will be the first in line to buy it.Well done!
