I broke the original plug completely, the new one is identical to the plug that was on my BMW charger, it’s easy to connect and works just as well as the original; well worth the money.

This plug is built by German electrical supplier Hella (like the driving lights). Hella has always built top quality products that work well. It does its job but I could suggest that they make is more water proof(it is going in a boat, right?) also the terminals are at a funny angle making it tough to get 10 or 12 gauge wire to exit the relief properly, good luck getting them out the back of the plug. For the price it should have had the wire terminals included.
