The backing looks great on the reel. Blue looks better than a standard white Dacron.

Wow I got six reels of backing, so 600 yards total. I didnt know that it came in a multiple pack. Very pleased. Scientific Anglers is the best!

Line with no splices, nice. Had my cheap backing break at a splice.Tip for you: Use good backing and keep the drag tight enough to pull you rod up from the bottom by the line without getting into the backing.

I actually purchased this backing to secure clear net bags to net frames. It works perfectly for that purpose. Just what I needed to get into the net building craft.
