Ordered a 18-24 mo size for my 11 month old niece who weighs about 25lbs. It fits just a little loose...room to grow a bit. The fleece material is not too heavy for baby to move around in. You do need an undershirt to keep the embroidery from rubbing or itching, but that's true with any embroidered shirt. Good quality and a good bargain!
