I ordered this microphone last week. The package arrive with no microphone. After pursuing the process to return and replace, the second package also arrived without the Samson microphone. I spent $199 for a cheap case and some wires.

A qualidade da marca é indiscutível. Mas o produto enviado estava em condições de (mal) uso. Espuma anti vento suja, com pelos grudados. Um nojo. Microfone todo entortado.

DPA 4088 costs $1000. This costs $200. DPA 4088 is about 10% better, in terms of being more sensitive to sibilants (which isn't always good thing), and placing it even 7cm from mouth, it'll still capture perfect audio. This SE60x does have higher noise floor, however not distracting when amplified on live speaker. Also SE60x gain is higher then 4088, meaning it's louder naturally. Also SE60x has better feedback deflection. I can stand right infront of a speaker with this (about 2 meters away), and 0% feedback. If did same with DPA 4088, would've gone into eeeeeccchhhh feedback (the high frequency thing you don't want in live setting). However in real world, you'd never be that close to speaker anyway.SE60x is brilliantly light, and the metal easily shapes, meaning you can easily customize it to fit your face, just right.Absolutely not returning SE60x, seeing quality of sound is 90% as good as DPA 4088. Virtually indistinguishable in live setting. You have to really listen well to pick those 10% negligible difference.Only thing, so far, I think DPA 4088 looks more professional, and I can move the mic slightly behind the mouth, and still capture crystal clear audio. Meaning less distraction, better look. While SE60x sits almost infront of my mouth, which is more prominent to the audience. However SE60x is so light, it's more comfortable for me to wear.So I'm keeping both. No clear winner.

I have used this microphone for several years and love it. As long as you put it on correctly, it works great! I think for the cost of the item, the sound is excellent. It comes with a case, different attachments and it works great with a rode go mic.I wish there were directions with how to put it on because it needs way less adjusting than you think. Your ear goes in front of the stretchy thing so the round piece and the stretchy piece go behind you ear and the only thing in front of your ear is the part that is attached to the actual microphone. Hopefully that makes sense. It's important to know because if you put it on incorrectly you think it doesn't fit right.Overall I highly recommend this microphone.

I am the music leader at my church and because I play guitar it is easier for me to use a headset mic. I have tried several over the years, but they all are somewhat uncomfortable, that is until using the SE60X. Since it only hangs on your ear, you don't have the bar go around the back of your head to the other ear. The only downside is if you use the headset & transmitter on the same side the cord keeps falling over your arm. There is a clip included that fixes this. As far as the quality based on the price, my voice is much clearer and less muffled compared to my old headset. I liked it so much I got a second one for home.

The sound from this, especially with a bit of EQ, is very impressive given the size of the capsule. However, the single-ear version is just not performance capable. I could briefly get it snug, but it would loosen and be flopping around soon after. Also, taking it off and putting it right back on required adjustment. So, I strongly recommend going with the double-ear version, the DE60x. The mic is great. The single-ear version just isn't good.
