I didn’t have my expectations high, but I was truly disappointed in this product. I’ve used it twice and both times it broke. The first time I used it the alligator clips broke off. The 2nd time I used it the wiring going into the light broke. The wiring supports the light. There is no tether or attachment point to take the stress off the wires. Thus the weight of the light is enough to snap it off.If you do buy this light. Wrap some of the cord around the top of the light and use gorilla tape to tape it in place. Or attach a separate cable to support the weight.

This light is really great. Within 30 minutes of turning it on a cloud of plankton surrounds it. Shortly after that the baitfish start showing up. You will know when a large fish is approaching, because all the baitfish will scatter. I have had bass, catfish, crappie and big bluegill attack the baitfish. I usually put a minnow under a slip bobber just outside the light. Crappie and Catfish hit this setup really good.
