These pencils are in a great metal tin with hinge. These are the kind of pencils that your kids will keep for years. They have thick lead cores, and they're nice and soft. Couldn't be happier with the quality and so happy you can get these in the US.

These high-quality pencils coming from well-known manufacturer, Sakura are highly pigmented but they crumble when you go to sharpen them. When you do manage to get a decent point on them, it snaps as soon you put the pencil to the paper.

Not vibrant enough for me so I'm giving them away. They're perfectly good pencils, just not for me.
