Although friends of mine who have this same stand don’t have this issue. I believe this product is not the same as the ones purchased in stores. Mine shakes from side to side awfully making noises. This feels like a knock off and I got hosed- for a lot of money. I don’t recommend buying.

I purchased this gong stand to match the one owned by the brass band. The band is going into competition next week and both of the stands are going, too. We have had great performance from the original and expect the same from this one: top notch. It is sturdy and handles well when moved. Brakes on the wheels are a plus. 5*
