The surface intended to be written upon seems to repel ink. For future runs of these cards, you might consider using a less glossy surface that doesn't repel ink.

While the description says that the ink will not smear it is not correct. Printer ink, stamp ink, ballpoint ink, fountain pen ink...they all smear. We found that if you leave the ink to dry for 24 hrs before use some ink will set. So this product was totally unuseful for our needs to use for a mass mail to our clients.

You will need to use a Sharpie (upper rt) or pencil. Most any other writing instrument will smear regardless of the length of time allowed for drying.

Got these for thank you cards for my son's going away to bootcamp party. 1/2 the pile was used as notes of encouragement to him for bootcamp left by everyone at the party for me to send to him. Great quality product.

These were perfect for a Veterans Day project I wanted to do and send many local veterans a note. They were sturdy, afforded enough room to write message and complete addresses. Will buy again if needed!
