The kit seems to be working okay. I think the original ECO and Thermostat sensors had lost contact due to (hot) wire connections there. They were a bit of a challenge to mount, but take your time and you can get the spring and plastic cover to fit under the tabs on the tank housing. I have since replaced my pressure relief valve, removed and cleaned the mixer on back. And I an replacing the 110 V heating element on the back also as it is not heating on electric. 15 year old tank. Lots of residue came out when flushed. Don't forget that.

Unfortunately RVs only break when you use them. Our water heater went out on a recent trip. I bought this to keep on hand for the future. It’s much easier and cheaper than going to a dealer during a vacation. FYI, these parts, along with the circuit board, are the most common ones to go bad on a Dometic water heater. You can easily test your old parts with a multimeter (see YouTube). I’d suggest starting with the fuse as that’s the part most likely to go bad.
