The hatch on my travel trailer has 2 latches. One of them has a lock and the other, no lock. Usually I don't bother with the locking barrel lock so I only close one of them. Eventually the harch door becomes warped because only one side of the door is latched down.The solution is to get rid of the lockand just get a couple of larches like this. Now when I close the hatch I always use both latches, And the door stays secure.Finally I will add back the lock by drilling a hole in the middle between the two non blocking latches.I found this latch to be very high quality and better than the existing latches. It has a stop at 1/4 turn. N8ce finish.

I purchased these to replace some locks for fishing rod lockers on a boat and while they are a good value they do come with some caveats . The cam locks work as intended however the metal tang that does the latching are weak and half the thickness of the old locks. The do the job however any force on the door will certainly bend them and pop the door wide open. Unfortunately I could not use the old tangs as they were totally different. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase they are not meant to keep the thieves out.

Replaced the locking latches on my Rpod because the only way to close them was with the key and that is a huge pain in the buttocks. Since only one of two latches on every compartment door could be actuated without a key, the doors were starting to warp because nobody wants to use a key every time you go in your pass through. These worked very well and were a good value. Good match too. Used my old lever bits soni didn’t have to bend the new ones to the proper angle, though it wouldn’t have been too difficult, I’m just lazy. These are great.
