Good looking jacket. Does not have a zipper, uses buttons. Comfortable. One down side…. the jacket is rather “thin” and definitely not really a good choice for wearing in cold weather.

This is a great lightweight casual jacket. It can be worn in any kind of setting.It is made from a durable cotton fabric blend as is fully lined with a waist band that has a drawstring that can cinch in the waist. It has 2 front lower pockets near the hip. It also has a right side button down pocket with flap and the left upper pocket has a very nice zippered enclosure. It also has a right inner pocket and it buttons down the full length of the jacket and those are covered.The jacket is really in between a light weight jacket and a heavy weight shirt. It's very comfortable and I will wear it during all but extremely cold settings.This is a great addition to my wardrobe.

As people have mentioned this isn't really a "coat", it's light and casual...kind of a very thick shirt. But I have a coat already, and so I like this being a nice layer of outerwear for a cool day. People are saying it looks "military"... maybe? But I think it looks like a pretty normal thing to wear, and I'm glad to have gotten the gray. Black would have just kind of blurred with my other clothes, and this really doesn't look like anything else I have.It's rugged but still pretty soft on the outside, and the inside liner is soft and comfortable on skin. The pockets being on the front means it's a little bit different to put your hands in them--it's most comfortable to do so when the jacket is unbuttoned so your arms don't have to be vertical down your chest. The button holes are a very tight fit, so unbuttoning and buttoning it is a little awkward. But I probably will be wearing it unbuttoned most of the time.Overall I'm a fan--I like it and will be wearing it a lot!

I had an awesome khaki jacket from some canadian company called Stock Co years and years ago. The jacket has since been lost to time and i've been looking to replace it for a while now. When i came across this one, it looked similar and i figured i'd give it a shot. Glad i did, because it's pretty nice! First off, it fits pretty true to size. A little fitted but not too slim and far from boxy. It has a nice subtle silhouette. There's also a string with two little clips that runs the entire way around the waist and it can be cinched up to make the silhouette even more fitted. All the pockets but one have flaps and that's where my only complaint lies. After washing the pocket flaps curl up at the corners. It's frustrating as heck to iron them down since this khaki/duck material doesn't like to comply with an iron. But save for that, i dig the coat. It's not too thick, so will probably only work as a fall/spring jacket... it's about as thick as a pair of chinos. Maybe a touch heavier. But hey... we have long springs and autumns, so i can get away with this coat for a lot of months. Plus it goes with eeeeverything.

I thought this might be a good option to wear while fly fishing, but there are a handful of things that I just don't care for.1) I don't like the way the jacket closes...the buttons under a fabric cover along the front, well, just doesn't work for me2) The lower pair of pockets on the front would be WAY more useful if they had side slits in them so you can put your hands in there behind the pockets3) It would be better if this garment was marketed as a top shirt instead of a jacket.Likes:1) The sizing is good overall2) I like the colorMy overall impression and evaluation is 4/5 stars, since most of my criticisms are personal preference issues instead of design flaws.

When the temps start going down into the 60s, this jacket comes in handy. It is lightweight and has a good design. It is one of those jackets to carry around with you on a nice fall day. It fits great and looks great.
