My son has several of these swimsuits. They fit him well and are well made and so cute.

We own two pairs of Rugged Butts swim shorts for my 10 month old son and have been very happy with both. I ordered a third pair and they are a completely different size, despite being sold and labeled as 6-12 month (same as my other two pairs). As you can see in my pictures, they are significantly bigger and unwearable. I removed the tags and washed them before realizing the size discrepancy so now I am unable to return. Very disappointed to have wasted over $30 on swim shorts that are unwearable and will likely be too small by next season. Despite previous positive experiences with Rugged Butts, I am now hesitant to purchase from them in the future.Update to my review. I ordered a replacement size of the same swim shorts. The new shorts arrived and are the same size as the previously ordered shorts. Again, I don’t understand the sizing differences but they are significant and clearly inconsistent. This is highly inconvenient and I don it plan to order from Ruffle Butts/Rugged Butts again.

We have lots of bathing suits between my kids from this company. For whatever reason this suit is cut differently and runs huge!! Even when tied it is big. I love the colors and the pattern, but it will not fit my 10 month old despite being tied. Disappointed but still love the rash guard and other items we have from here
