After ordering another seat device from another company and not getting the product. We ordered from your company and it arrived within three days and was easy to install and worked wonderful. Thank you.

When we bought our jeep, there were aftermarket seats and frames installed. The previous owner had new Rugged Ridge seats that he never installed and gave to me with the purchase of the jeep. I attempted to install with the frame that was in the jeep but they didn't match. I ended up getting ahold of original tilt frames and installed the new seats with these frames in the jeep. The handle for the slide release that comes with this frame didn't fit quite right and I had to grind the end of the pivot end of the handle and drill a new pivot hole in the bracket plate that it attaches to get this to work correctly. I thought I needed to drill a new hole for one of the seat attachment points but really only needed to spread the frame to align the holes. When you are assembling the frame to the jeep seat frame and the seat, leave the bolts loose to allow this spread then once everything is together, figure out how to tighten all the bolts. There are several bolt locations that are very awkward to reach. An open end wrench is about the only way to tighten them. You will need to remove the seat frame from the jeep to be successful.

Adapter worked great and I still can move the seat forward for back seat access.

The adapter is fine. Difficult to install due to the placement of the holes but really not many options so I don't fault the designer too much. That said, the lever that is supposed to release the seat to tumble forward does not work. The "wire" used to connect is at least 2.5 inches short. And, the hardware included for the U-Bracket which is the guide for the lever - also does not work. I've communicated with the manufacture and they appreciated the pictures and responded by saying they were mystified by all this. They said they would check into this but they haven't responded since. This is a life safety issue. While one can reach under the seat and release it it's very difficult to do this from the rear seat. It's certainly possible for many people to extract themselves from the back seat of a Jeep Wrangler without the seat fully tumbled forward. However, this is more than a convenience item. It's a life safety function that could prevent someone from getting out of the vehicle in an emergency.Since the manufacturer isn't responding I'll come up with a homemade fix before I allow anyone to ride in the back seat.
