Per the instructions, drill out the OME rivets holding on the footman loop on the windshield frame and install the bracket with footman loop using provided rubber well nuts.. Now I have junk rattling around in my windshield frame, one of the well nuts fell apart so I cant install the bracket. Tomorrow's mission is to find a pair of rivnuts to complete the installation.....

This bracket was perfect for mounting our CB radio in our 2003 Jeep Wrangler. It was a little difficult with the top on but once it was in place it holds our CB perfect and is very sturdy!

The bracket will allow me to install a CB in a jeep TJ that doesn’t have great placement options. This one seems like the best option for me. Small issue is I received a package that had clearly been opened. The box was battered. One end was sloppily taped with packing tape. Instructions were kind of wadded up and jammed in. The bracket and all of the hardware was in the box and everything was in good condition. This should have been sold as an open box item. Again the product itself was complete and in good condition.

I mounted this and immediately hated it the nutserts they give you are rubber and trash I ripped it off glad i didn’t mount my cb and have it fall on my head

Mount works good with small CB's. I used self tapping screws to mount mine to the side of where the direction say to put it.

Gets the radio out of the way. Not many spots to mount a radio in a TJ, so this works well

Useless. The mounting hardware is rubber crap and doesn't provide anywhere near enough security to hold up a CB. Just going over speed bumps the thing would shake around EVERYWHERE. Didn't even bother trying to take it off road like that because I know I'd end up with a broken CB in my lap by the end of the day.

This mount worked out fairly well for me although I did have to trim the plastic around the frame to accommodate the CB. I used the size drill bit called for in the instructions and did not have any issues with the rubber inserts. Losing the footmans loop does pose some challenges if you have a bikini top that attaches to it but i was able to attach that strap to this bracket. Overall it is a much better fit here than sandwiched between the driver and door on the dash using the other available mounts.
